Cortesan Sin

Violet is a young woman dying to be released from the boundaries of being a traditional woman in the late 1890's. Her journey starts in survival mode. She does whatever is needed to survive and she has no control of her life. After the experience of being physically abused she flees out of fear. Violet almost loses her life and also suffers the tragedy of losing her infant baby. At this point she is completely broken and must find the will to live. Violet recognizes her strength, intelligence and a passion for life. In the end, she is confident and fearless enough to face her adversary. Violet steps into the role of Madam and not only assuming control of her life but the lives of the women at the brothel.
