Subliminal perception/self-control review and educational potential

Subliminal perception and self-control are briefly reviewed, discussed, compared and contrasted. Throughout one's lifetime, subliminal perception occurs continuously. It is a process which enables an individual to filter through all of the information which bombards him/her on a daily basis. As a educational potential, this process could possibly be used to foster more productive learning. At the same time, self-control processes are used by individuals every day. Utilization and limitations of self-control are determined by the person. The potential of developing this process could result in added self-awareness and positive behavior. Although these two processes have several differences, they complement one another in various ways. An integration of these areas of study seem to have a unique educational potential in terms of individual self-awareness and learning.
