dc.description.abstract | The Family and Consumer Sciences department 2016-17 annual assessment report to the College of Health and Human Development for the Office of Academic Assessment and Program Review. Describing the 2015-16 restructuring of the FCS Graduate program in detail, the report includes a Course and PLO Alignment Matrix, a Course & Student Assessment Matrix, and a Curriculum and Course Alignment with Students' Culminating Experience matrix. Plans to finalize the culminating experience (exam or thesis) are noted, as well as the need to redesign the Graduate Student Exit Survey. In addition, assessment of a HHD College-wide SLO (Evidence Based Practice) in the FCS undergraduate program, involving faculty completion of a course alignment matrix and a rubric by which faculty assessed their own students' proficiency in Evidence-Based Practices. No data are presented as a result of this assessment but are instead to be included in a College-level analysis of SLO throughout the Health and Human Development. | en_US |
