LA as Subject Archives Residency Program Mentorship Components

Mentoring Components: As part of the LA as Subject IMLS-funded Archives Residency Program, each mentee (resident) will be paired with a mentor (host institution supervisor). Throughout the duration of the yearlong residency, the mentor and mentee will meet monthly. This professional relationship will help the mentee become familiar with the job duties of an archivist and will allow the mentor to advise a new professional and shape the field.
