The Environmental and Occupational Health department 2017-18 annual assessment report to the College of Health and Human Development for the Office of Academic Assessment and Program Review. An externally accredited program, the department prepared for its 2019 EHAC reaccreditation site visit "by measuring and analyzing data revealing overall program health and effectiveness for both BS and MS degrees." To this end, a 5-year assessment plan is being developed, while program SLOs were indirectly assessed via online surveys of program alumni, and reviews of the LinkedIn accounts of selected students. Major results from these surveys reveal that "less than 7% [of program graduates] are either unemployed or actively pursuing further education. Over 60% of respondents [n=23] have secured an EOH related job (~74% employed including non-EOH employed). About 90% of the employed obtained a job within
12 months of graduation." Full survey results, as well as survey instruments are included in the report.
