dc.description.abstract This thesis is for CSUN students who are interested in work on image processing. The application is written in MATLAB, and this thesis goal is to help students understand the image and the processes that can apply to it to change an image matrix for different purposes. Moreover, it is a general idea to display how image processing functions. The application works on a few digital images such as RGB, Grayscale, and Black and white. The application can convert colorful images into grayscale or Black and White and prepare them for further analysis. This application can add noise or deformation to a picture to show the problems caused by taking an image and how to improve the image resolution. It has Morphological operations, and also, it will show edge detection with different techniques.
