dc.description | At an institutional level, I have also been interested and active in debates about changes to geography and environmental studies, changes that have often meant the amalgamation of these two in numerous Australian universities. Having undertaken my PhD in an interdisciplinary graduate centre for environmental studies, I am particularly conscious that feelings of concern about these amalgamations are not exclusive to my base discipline.
