Reducing the crime rate in the city of Saint Louis

Master of Public Administration in Public Sector Management and Leadership Crime reduction is a severe issue in Saint Louis, Mo. It is the government responsibility to provide these people with a safe environment to live their life. Furthermore, there needs to be changed in the education system to help create better opportunities for the people in the Saint Louis Community. Civic engagement is a significant factor in reducing the crime rate in Saint Louis also. Civic engagement is going to provide excellent guidance to the people of the Saint Louis community to make them aware of opportunities and guide the people on a successful path for success. Another important factor is economic development, which is going to provide resources and financial stability to the poverty rate. Once the poverty rate is positively impacting then we can help reduce the crime rate. People will not feel the need to kill, steal or take away from another person financial situation, which will result in the reduction of crime in the city of Saint Louis. Lastly, we have to fix the relationship between the people in the police. It should not be the people vs. the police. There should be unity amongst the police and the people. Ultimately, the city of Saint Louis needs to target all the variables in this study to reduce the crime in the city of Saint Louis.
