dc.description.abstract The current divide between the academic world of international relations and real world diplomat-decision makers of the field, is massively problematic. Decades of literature on the issue show an education experience that is esoteric and misleading. Drawing from examination of various sources, as well as from personal experience within the academic side of the field, this paper posits a couple actionable remedies to the issue.
