As mathematicians our objective is to advance the discipline among all constituents through teaching and research. This website is part of this effort by informing you about the opportunities the Department of Mathematics has to offer to you. A dedicated staff, thirty seven tenure-track faculty members, and a host of adjunct faculty and teaching associates are striving to help you.

The Department offers undergraduate and Master's degrees in mathematics and applied mathematics leading to a wide variety of career opportunities, including in secondary and higher education, business and industry. The Department has a long history of supporting its students in many ways, including external grants, job opportunities as tutors and Teaching Associates.
