dc.description.abstract | The Recreation and Tourism Management M.S self-study provides an overview of two degrees: an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Tourism Hospitality Recreation Management) and a graduate degree (Master of Science in Tourism Hospitality Recreation Management). The document consists of a cover page that acknowledges the degrees, options, and minor; the Program Review Self-Study Faculty Committee, and the seeking of accreditation through the Council of Accreditation for Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (COAPRT). It is followed by a Faculty Review Verification and Forward which describes the parallel process of seeking external accreditation and writing the self-study. Final introductory material consists of a one-page executive summary. The body of the report consists of 5 parts: overview of the program, assessment and strategic planning, key strengths and challenges, review of and response to the previous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and appendices. | en |
