Chasing Sleep: A Business Plan

[ABSTRACT ONLY; NO FULL TEXT] This paper offers the client firm in the sleep disorder industry different options for increasing its sales. In order to produce multiple recommendations, and present viable options to the firm, the authors of this paper focused on analyzing external and internal factors affecting the firm. Analysis was performed on both industry and firm levels. Throughout the paper, the authors utilized the use of both primary and secondary sources of references. Secondary sources served as the primary drivers when analyzing the sleep disorder industry, while being substantiated with the analysis of the firm's performance for the past five years. The authors have accessed and extensively used notable academic search engines, such as LexisNexis. On the other hand, random and anonymous surveys were administered to the firm's clients. The team also conducted interviews with key role players inside the firm. Tabulation and analysis of the surveys, full understanding of interviews, and the firm's five-year performance assisted the authors in isolating the firm's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and threats that are available to it. Findings and recommendations are proprietary to the firm and shall remain confidential.
