dc.description Describe Communication Disorders and Sciences (MA) department's assessment activities for academic year 2016-2017 en_US
dc.description.abstract The Communication Disorders and Sciences (MA) department 2016-17 annual assessment report to the College of Health and Human Development for the Office of Academic Assessment and Program Review. The department continued a series of indirect assessments of graduate alumni, comparing data from 2011-12 to 2016-17. Analysis of 2016-17 alumni survey responses (n=9) indicate some weakness in the areas of "assessment and treatment for children on the Autism Spectrum, assessment and treatment for Head and Neck Cancer, assessment and treatment of Cleft Palate and Cranial Facial Disorders, and therapy for Aural Rehabilitation." Ways of addressing these responses are described as being under discussion. Plans for 2017-18 will "likely include [an implementation of] the ASHA required employer survey." en_US
